“I am driven to create and draw inspiration from my surroundings at my beautiful home in the Fingerlakes region of upstate New York, from my love of books, and my love of design. Whether I am creating a piece of jewelry, a marketing graphic, or an illustration for a book or for a print, I try to evoke feelings of joy and excitement from my work, both in myself, and in the viewer. In my classes I hope to empower students to recognize their abilities, to set aside fear, and to find joy in the creation of art. EVERYONE has the ability to create, regardless of ‘innate talent.’ If we want to do something, we simply need to be taught how to do it.”

Art is life.
Art influences every aspect of my life. I would rather be creating than doing just about anything else. Bringing beauty to the world is a joy that keeps me going. I make A LOT of different kinds of art. I only recently began selling my art, and not all the art I make is for sale. Here is a brief tour of my home studio and some of the different types of art I make.
